How did Farm to Pet start?
Farm to Pet came to be because we wanted a simple healthy dog treat for our own pup, and nothing is simpler than just one wholesome ingredient.
We started making pure natural chicken chips at home to the delight of our dog and any others who tried them! We are now in our own production facility – making many more treats for dogs and cats! – but not much else has changed since that first batch.
Our treats are still wholesome, nutritious, single-ingredient, and responsibly made in the USA, and they always will be.
What makes Farm to Pet different?
We know how much pet parents care about what their pets eat. Unlike many others, our Chips dog treats, Crumbles cat treats, and Toppers pet food toppers are more than “treats.”

Where are Farm to Pet treats made?
Our healthy treats for dogs and cats are 100% made in the USA. Our human-grade meat, poultry and fish come from trusted midwestern farms and fishermen direct to our family-owned factory in Chicago IL where we batch make, package and ship every product.
What does responsibly-sourced mean?
Farm to Pet follows fair, ethical and environmental practices throughout our supply chain, working with only farms and fishermen that use humane methods. Our fish is sustainably wild-caught, and poultry and beef are cage-free, vegetarian-fed, and hormone-, GMO- and steroid-free.
How are Farm to Pet treats made?
Our pet treats start with lean, fine cuts of 100% natural human-grade chicken, turkey, beef and fish that we grind and form into cylinders. These are then cut into circles and placed individually on trays, where they are gently dehydrated to crunchy easy-to-digest perfection.
We also focus on reducing waste. The whole chips make perfect dog treats, smaller pieces become cat treats, and the smallest of all are ground into dog food toppers, so none of our high-quality ingredients is wasted!
What pet treat flavors does Farm to Pet have?
We offer four single-ingredient treat varieties for dogs and cats: chicken, turkey, beef and fish. Each one is made with only lean, natural, human-grade cuts with no fillers or byproducts. Pets love the flavor of real protein as much as you’ll love the quality!
Are Farm to Pet treats soft or crunchy?
Our dog treats are known for their signature crunch! Crisp but not hard, our protein chips are easy to break apart into smaller pieces and chompable by dogs of all sizes and breeds. Our cat treats are crunchy too, but in morsels ideal for smaller mouths.
How many calories are in your dog treats?
Our low-fat dog treats are also low in calories:
• Chicken Chips – 7 calories per chip
• Turkey Chips – 7 calories per chip
• Beef Chips – 6 calories per chip
• Fish Chips – 8 calories per chip
How many calories are in your cat treats?
Our cat treats are protein-rich yet low in calories at just 3 calories per serving.

How many treats should I feed my dog?
With just 6-8 calories per chip, dogs can have anywhere from 2-3 or up to 10 at a time depending on their size and nutritional needs. Consult your vet for personalized guidance on how many of our low-fat high-protein treats to give your dog.
How many treats can my cat have?
Like our dog treats, our cat treats are high in protein and nutrients yet low in fat and just 3 calories per serving. Most cats can enjoy 3 to 7 servings a day based on size and nutritional needs. It’s always advisable to consult your veterinarian for specific guidance for your pet.

Dogs and cats thrive on protein-rich diets and usually get sufficient carbohydrates from pet foods. Does Farm to Pet have treats for dogs with chicken allergies?
For dogs with food allergies, try our Turkey Chips and Fish Chips dog treats. These novel proteins are less common in pet food, making them less likely to cause sensitivity or reaction. Our single-ingredient treats are less allergenic in general due to their lack of “hidden” or processed ingredients that can trigger reactions like itching or stomach upset.
Are Farm to Pet treats gluten-free?
Yes! Our single-ingredient treats are made in our dedicated facility with only chicken breast, turkey breast, beef round, or walleye fillets.
Are there any hormones, steroids or GMOs in Farm to Pet treats?
Our treats contain no artificial ingredients, and our poultry, meat and fish don’t either! The animals are never raised with hormones, steroids or antibiotics and eat vegetarian diets with no GMOs, glutens or byproducts, and the fish are sustainably wild-caught.
Do Farm to Pet treats contain added salt?
Our single-ingredient treats contain no added salt, sugar or seasonings of any kind. The sodium content is naturally occurring in poultry breast, meat and fish and is within healthy ranges for dietary consumption for dogs and cats.
